Why Blogging??

I never thought of blogging until my friend Shruti in a casual conversation gave an Idea of blogging as a source of interest

Although she had given this idea a long time ago, I got very late to implement this.

I'm Chetan Chinchulkar, currently a BTech fresher in IIT Guwahati.

I passed CBSE Class X & CBSE Class XII with decent percentage .

What is Poetry?

The word POETRY originates from a Greek word which means TO MAKE. . Poetry has a musical quality with rhythm, pitch, metre and it sometimes use figures of speech such as simile,sarcasm, oxymoron, hyperbole metaphor,and many more. Thus A poet is a creator and the poem is the creation .

On the contrary single definition of poetry is not possible.

In class 8 CBSE ,we were taught a poem titled "Be the Best" (I'm not sure if it's still there or not in the curriculum)
The reason I'm including this poem because I have fascinated the idea behind the poem.

Message :

The poet teaches us a very important lesson of our life. He wants to convey to us that whatever you want to be or whatever you can be ,just be the best one in that field. The size doesn't matter of winning and losing , what matter is the best whatever you are. Hope it helps!

Poem : BE THE BEST {BE THE BEST OF WHATEVER YOU ARE }

It you can’t be a pine on the top of the hill,
Be a scrub in the valley – but be
The best little scrub by the side of the rill;
Be a bush, if you can’t be a tree.
If you can’t be a bush, be a bit of the grass,
And some highway happier make;
If you can’t be a muskie, then just be a bass-
But the liveliest bass in the lake!
We can’t all be captains, we’ve got to be crew,
There’s something for all of us here.
There’s big work to do and there’s lesser to do
And the task we must do is the near.
If you can’t be a highway, then just be a trail,
If you can’t be the sun, be a star;
It isn’t by size that you win or you fail-
Be the best of whatever you are!

My Reaction & Thoughts for the poem

Some Amendments I want

I really appreciate the poet Douglas Malloch for such a beautiful poetry.

With all due respect I wanna add something to this poem, We cannot be the best of everyone in any field until we are try to be the best of ourself.
Many people try to be the best in any category or field, but very few achieve this. According to me the reason is same as I mentioned beforehand ,ie first Be the Best of ourself then Be the Best of any field

& I want everyone out there to apply the same & observe the changes in your life.
